Mass Update Lead Owner

Hello,

I need to mass update the "Lead Owner" field in Marketo so that I can send interesting moment notifications to the right user. What would be the easiest way to do this given that I am using Marketo in conjunction with Dynamics 2011?

I would recommend that you make these changes on the CRM side, rather than in Marketo.

Chris,

You could create a smart campaign, include those you want to update, and use the "Change Owner" flow step. You may need to use a bunch of conditional criteria if you are mass assigning to multiple owners.

Thanks, Charlie. I am hoping to find a way to update using the email address as the primary key to append a new lead owner.

The conditional criterea would be too complicated to set up I think given two alignments across geographies and industies compounded by numerous override exceptions.

I agree with Kenny. You can do an update on the Marketo side, iniitally, but Dynamics should route the leads accorindgly for all new in-bound leads.

Thanks, Travis. That takes care it. Now I just need to update field mapping to get the desired results.
