Mass-delete segmentations?

I have inherited a Marketo instance where there are some segmentations being used in 500+ smart campaigns that are in archived folders. Is there any way to mass delete a segmentation without combing through every single smart list or smart campaign to replace it?

Nope.

You need to extract it out of each asset, then you can delete it.

HI James,

Globally deleting any asset in Marketo that is used many times if very painful and there is no workaround.

Thank you for the reply. It is being used many times in programs that are archived. Will that effect our performance?

Hi James,

I do not think it will affect much performance. Segmentation maintenance is a back office, low priority tasks.

Another point is that you have a limit in the number of segmentations you can have in your instance (25 is the limit, AFAIK). Therefore, you might to delete them simply to free your quota and be able to create new ones.
