Mass deactivation of smart campaigns?

We have hundreds of smart campaigns in use that have a a finite lifespan- typically one month.  It's a very cumbersome process to manually deactivate each and every campaign on a monthly basis.  Any way to do a mass deactivation or tie it to an archival process?  I've seen this topic before and don't believe there is currently a solution.  Any further progress on this?

There is also a built-in deactivation of trigger campaigns that aren't being used after 6 (I think) months that Marketo does automatically so you could just rely on that if you want.
