Marketo Web Page Activity Report: Page Views and Entry Page information missing

Hello,

While looking through the Web Page Activity report for anonymous website visits, there are two areas of incomplete information. The Page Views tab shows how many pages a lead visited but the link is missing that would reveal the specific pages visited. Additionally, the Entry Page data is partial only showing up for some visitors.

How can this missing data be included in the report?

Thank you.

Anonymous reporting is deliberately limited, as that's more a job for Clicky, GA, etc.

Hello,

Does that mean that information is not available for anonymous users?

Thank you.

Right, what you see is what you get.

To take a trip back in time, Marketo (long before it was an Adobe property) used to allow reporting on Anonymous activity that was loosely comparable to Known activity. But this proved too resource-intensive, and the product was never the right fit that part of the funnel.

As Sandy mentioned, Anonymous visitor activity tracking is pretty limited now; however, once this person becomes a known person record (i.e., they fill out a form/click a tracked link from an email) w/o cleating up cookies -- their anonymous web page visits (from before they were a known record in Marketko) also get logged in the known person record's activity log. This way, you get a complete view of all the pages the person visited as an anonymous and known record (as mentioned earlier, they should become a known record from the same browser w/o clearing up the Marketo tracking cookie  for this).
