marketo tracker cookie isnt found

Hi,

We are using your service, and we have problem with the marketo tracker, that is generated by munchkin,js file. 
Here is the workflow:
To re-associate a lead with the marketo cookie, we make a AJAX request. This request will send the email, and the marketo cookie to server. In the server side, we use API to re-associate the lead. But somehow, we see that there is some leads, that cannot be re-associated because there is no marketo cookie.
Someone has the same problem like ours ?

If users clear cookies or use a different browser and/or device the original cookie will not be accessible, resulting in a new anonymous lead.

To add Breno's point, if a user clears their cookies, then a new cookie with a different value will be assigned by Munchkin tracking code.

Hi,

Thank for your replying.
For the case: user clears his cookies, so when he goes to other pages, the cookies will be generated by munchkin js. Just after creating the marketo cookie, the ajax request will be re-sent to re-associate via API. so In fact user is always re-associated with the new cookie value. But as i said, we see nothing in the activity logs.
These cases happens on firefox, chrome, ...
Pls keep note that it only happens sometimes
