Marketo Specializations -- test prep?

I was wondering if anyone who has taken Marketo Specialization assessments found reviewing product documentation and practicing in Marketo sufficient for passing the exams? The courses they recommend for preparation are $375 apiece, which seems a little steep for how general the course content is.

My personal recommendation is to review the test requirements, read the docs to brush up, and other best practices related to the topic.

If you are a strong Marketo user (1-2years + of daily use) you will likely be familiar with some of the specialized topics.
