marketo/salesforce account linking

is there a way that we can map marketo and salesforce so that in addition to emails showing up in the email tab in the marketo section on the contact, it also shows on the email section of the account so that you don't have to go all the way into the contact to see when an account last got an email?

You would likely have to try a few things:
  • just pull a smart list of people for that company who also received an email.
  • going one step further, you could have a flow that says, if a Contact receives an email, set a flag to true. In SFDC, if that is TRUE, then Account Last Contact Date = X or something like that. You should do this in SFDC unless you really want to turn on Account editing for Marketo.
