Hi All,

Quick question - can we get the report as attached as the end result from the data pull in Marketo power BI analytics?

Hi,

I don’t think you can get it very easily because you are mixing 1-to-1 profile data with 1-to-many activity data. This creates a nesting relationship that wants to evaluate the profile data as a first/last relationship.  (You will also need to add some of your data as custom fields to be imported because not all fields are pushed to the data lake.) As a result you get something like this image.

NOTE: You cannot get realtime reporting because data is pushed every night.

    Few questions:

    - Can we get person details in the data pull (like first name, last name,...)
    - How to fetch the custom fields to the list in Power BI analytics, do we need any kind of access? Please confirm.

    - can you please provide any documentation for the work instructions to create 1-to1 profile data / 1-to-many profile data?

    Hi,

    Regarding your two questions:

    1. Adding custom fields requires Admin permission and is described in the documentation here. (It is still labeled RCE in Admin.)
    2. I am not aware of any documentation related to your use case. As I said before, you are attempting to create a report that is a combination of two different types of reports.  It may be possible but you may need the assistance of a Microsoft BI Analytics expert to do it.
