Marketo Nurture Campaign

Hello,
I’ve been troubleshooting an issue with my nurture programs not sending emails on their scheduled cast dates. I’ve confirmed that the program is active, the stream is active, and all emails within the stream are approved and active.
I also reviewed several leads who should have received the nurture emails, and I can see that they have received other emails on days when the nurture casts should have gone out.
It appears that none of the emails within the 2025 Broan-NuTone Marketing → Nurture folder are sending. Could you please advise if there’s something I might be missing?

@mheim Simple first check - have the records been added to the engagement program in that stream?

If you can include some screenshots of your setup that’d be helpful.

If the programs and streams are active and approved, the first thing I’d check is communication limits. Since those leads are receiving other emails on the same days, the nurture emails may be getting suppressed due to daily or weekly limits or lower email priority.

Next, confirm that leads still qualify for the stream at cast time and that the stream cadence is correct. Filters or date-based constraints can quietly disqualify people before a cast.

Because none of the emails in the folder are sending, this feels more like a shared or global setting than an individual program issue. I’d review any recent changes to communication limits, email priority, or stream settings across that folder.

Finally, check a single lead’s Activity Log on a missed cast date. If you see suppression due to limits or no nurture activity at all, that should point you in the right direction.

Hi @mheim ,

To add to all the other points suggested, check if you have Recipient Time Zone checked.

This will make the mail not go on your system date but according to the time zone your recipient is based in.

Hi @mheim,
If the program and emails are active, this is usually due to stream cadence/exhaustion or qualification, not approval. Please check:

  • Stream cadence & exhaustion rules (min days between casts)

  • Whether leads still qualify for the stream at cast time

  • Communication limits (Marketing Suspended, Unsubscribed, Email Invalid)

  • Email exhaustion (emails won’t resend to the same lead)

Try adding one clean test lead to validate. In most cases, cadence or exhaustion is the cause.

Hi @mheim,

I agree with the points shared by @Sant_Singh_Rath and @uditmathur.

To help identify the exact cause, could you please share screenshots of your setup? That would be very helpful.

@victoriabey @PeeyushSachdeva Here are some screenshots….I might have actually figure it out. For some reason it pulled the emails funny. I changed that now.

previously:

Changed to this:

But if not, here is what I am seeing:

Seem like there are people in the stream, but has gone through the cast.

It keeps reverting back to the whole campaign name, is this suppose to happen?

@mheim Definitely strange that the icon is showing up just the green arrow without the email icon. Are you pulling these emails in the stream via the email assets, or are you using a smart campaign to send the email then pulling the smart campaign in the stream? What are the Pro-2511 campaigns?
