Question

Marketo Munchkin Code on Multiple Sites

Hi Everyone,

Quick question...Our company has two websites. One is an application written in .NET and the other is a "marketing site" (which was designed using a standard CMS) that potential customers can visit to find out more information.

Is it possible to place the Marketo Munchkin Code on both sites? From what I understand, this should throw some sort of error, since technically the sites are not connected in any way. Please advise me on if this is even possible?

Thanks!

-Chris

Hi Chris,

Munchkin is javascript which calls out to your Marketo instance, so there should not be any issues with adding it to multiple sites.  That said, if your pages do not share a second-level domain(i.e. example.com), then there are some potential concerns which you can read about here: https://community.marketo.com/MarketoResource?id=kA650000000GuFCCA0
