Marketo LinkedIn Integration Fields Question

Hi guys, 

We have been leveraging the LinkedIn Match Audiences and LinkedIn Lead Gen integrations, which have significantly improved our marketing strategies. However, we have encountered a challenge that we're hoping someone in this amazing community can help us address.

Our issue revolves around generating/populating specific fields values for known leads in our Marketo database through either the native LinkedIn-Marketo integration or a third-party one. We are interested in capturing fields related to the 'Marketo Social LinkedIn Profile URL' or any other LinkedIn-related fields that would enhance our personalized and targeted marketing efforts.

Is it possible to achieve this through the native integration? We are also open to alternative solutions, whether it be through Marketo, LinkedIn, or a third-party tool. Your suggestions and insights into how we might be able to achieve this are highly appreciated.

Hello, @wy-2! Well, do you have these fields on your Linkedin lead gen forms? Only LinkedIn fields that have already been saved to a form template in the LinkedIn campaign manager will show up as LinkedIn fields that can be mapped to Marketo fields (snapshot below).

For updating the rest of the fields that aren't present on your lead gen forms, you'd have to build something custom (use iPaaS solutions/build your own custom integration using APIs).

Hi WY - we do this exact thing. 

 

The LinkedIn URL is first captured on the Lead Gen Form. We created a custom LinkedIn URL field in our CRM, so it would map to Marketo, and we wanted it visible to our Sales teams. 

 

 

That field is mapped to the LinkedIn URL field in our field mapping integration. (using the same example Darshil has shown). However, I'm pretty certain you should be able to use the Marketo native field if that's what you choose to map to. 

So, when it's captured, it's visible in Marketo and also on the record in the CRM.

    Hello,

     

    To add some context, the "Marketo Social..." fields are related to the social form fill feature. Unfortunately, LinkedIn social form fill is no longer an option, though Twitter and Facebook are still available. All the related fields still exist in Marketo instances though, and as the others mentioned you could probably write to them either by including fields on the LinkedIn Lead Gen form or using a third-party enrichment tool.
