Does anyone know if there's a how-to guide for the Marketo implementation for e-commerce websites? I am looking, first, to foundations and concepts, necessary structure and major aspects of this implementation.

I couldn't find anything worth the time to read.

I'd love to help out, would you mind expanding on a couple of details:

Which CMS platform are you using?
When you say implementation, which elements are you looking for guidance on? Technical setup? Other areas of best practice?

Hi Saulo,

There isn't a Guide like this anywhere. There are lots of blog posts and forum posts discussing issues with ecommerce and use cases. Do a search here and on google to find relevant articles.

I'll consider writing a basic guide on this in the future as it would be a good blog post. Some thoughts:

Which ecommerce platform do you have?
What's Marketo going to do? Why did you buy?
Which use cases and emails do you want to send?
What is the current data structures in your systems?
How will you integrate Marketo and X platform?
