Marketo field not showing fields in field mapping

Hi there.

I've just set up new marketo field "brand" and 2 new fields in Salesforce "brand" for both contact and lead.

But none of it is showing field mapping - is there some time lag between when new fields are created and are shown in field mapping or what?

You did not need to create the field "brand" in Marketo. On the next update sync with Salesforce the field that you created "Brand" will sync down to Marketo. Key here is that it needs to be added to the lead and contact layout to sync down to Marketo...

Are you planning on using this new Salesforce field in Marketo forms?

Mark, do you know how much time takes for the new Marketo fields to show up under the "Field Mapping" tab of the Field Managment area in the admin section? We created the SFDC lead/contact fields we wanted Marketo to inherit several hours ago but are still not seeing it in the mapping tab. Thanks!

Seems like you should have seen the new fields by now based on the out-of-box sync cadence. Did you ad the fireld to both the lead and contact layout? This is a requirment for it to sync down to Marketo...
