Marketo email to pull external data source

I am looking for a way to pull in an external data source for a newsletter we send regularly through Marketo. For example, we would like to be able to have our newsletter built in Marketo using Email Editor 2.0 and have a way for the editor to drop in an "article" module that would pull a news article from our website automatically (title, link, and teaser). Is there a way to build out this dynamic content? Maybe something with email scripting and tokens?

Has anyone attempted this or has a working example?

HI Joe,

There are at least 2 solutions in the Launchpoint that enable to do this. Look into Digesto, from Perkuto, for instance.

Otherwise, email scripting and tokens are not the way to go. The Marketo API is
