Marketo Database

We are just starting to use Marketo. We have a current database system that contains all of our customer information that is always being updated. Does it make since to dump all of the customer information into Marketo at the start? Or should everything just be synced using API so that the database is stored on our current system only?

Jeff

Please move the question to Products. (Move link is at the right.) "About" is for webmaster feedback about the Community site, not support.

Jeffrey, what CRM/database are you using?

Hi Darrell,

I'm a little late with this response...sorry about that! It's Symitar, which is a common CRM for Credit Unions.

Jeffrey,

If the API moves the info over seamlessly from Symitar to Marketo (run some tests), I would use the API to get the info over. How many fields are you talking?

I'm not even sure yet...
