Marketo custom object field in email as token?

Hi,

Is there a way I can use marketo's custom object fields as token in Marketo emails? 

They don't seem to be accessible directly, but is there a work-around?

Any inputs will be appreciated! Thank you!

Velocity tokens have access to all (first-level) Custom Objects, both Marketo COs and CRM COs.

Thanks @Sanford Whiteman‌. Are there any posts on your blog with example scripts that I can refer to? I did a basic search but wanted to know if you could recommend something. Will much appreciate your time.
