Marketo Crashing Alert

Hi All,

I was just wondering, since we will be using Marketo and its servers to send out emails and access lead database 24/7; is there a way so that an alert can be sent to a selected EmailID , whenever Marketo's servers crash or go down.

As in, an email alerting the marketing admin back here in the company stating that Marketo is down for the moment and engineers are working towards getting it up and running soon. This will really really help us to devise some contingency plans in such extreme cases, so that we don't lose out on valuable customers whom we will be contacting via Marketo.

Hi Prabash,

Marketo do send system down time notifications.

And if you are regular on community you will find out that they notify down time here as well way ahead of time.

Hi Ravi,

So do you suggest, under the notifications tab I subscribe to Notification Type : Announcements and enter my email ID in Send To : prabash@example.com and click Subscribe to start receiving emails regarding instances when Marketo might crash or has crashed ?
