Marketo changing names and showing up in chatter

Has anyone seen this activity before where Marketo keeps on changing the name on salesforce record. It only shows up in the chatter history and not the lead history. 

Are they being funny? or is there something else ongoing here? See image below

Hi Abdallah,

That doesn't look like something automatic.  I'd suggest checking with your SFDC admin to see if A) there are any solutions/apex triggers/workflows which could be refsponsible for this B) if there have been any logins to the account from non-marketo IPs which could have changed that.

Right - if the sync user does something which causes a workflow to make that change, for example, it will still show the action as being associated with the user, rather than the workflow. It's not Marketo playing a practical joke on you :)

Thanks for all the replies. It turns out that this was a user of our web application who was changing his display name everytime he joined the application. He obviously has  good sense of humour!
