Mark Dynamic Content More Clearly in Editor and Approval Process

To avoid mistakes that can be serious, it would be helpful to have better indicators of Dynamic content sections. As is it, it's very easy to be unaware that there is Dynamic content in an email.

  1. When editing an email section, there should be a RED tab that explains which Dynamic area you are in, so you notice the section is Dynamic, not Static.
  2. Sample emails/tests should offer the option to have Samples based on actual Segmentations, not Default content only.
  3. In the Control Panel Approval area, designate that the email uses Dynamic content, and which sections are Dynamic.
  4. Require acknowledgement that there is Dynamic content in the email before Approval.

Definitely #2. I cannot simply send a sample email because of this, instead I have to provide the link to preview the email within Marketo and provide directions on previewing by segmentation.

Love this, thanks for submitting the idea. It's not obvious when an email has dynamic content and it would be very helpful if there was a clear indication of that. Maybe even a symbol on the email asset icon of some kind?
