Make changes to Inferred Fields

We need to change the inferred fields on a customer because the information is off by several states not to mention cities and it is causing the client to get emails he shouldn't be getting.  If we enable the inferred fields in SF will it allow us to update them through Marketo?

Not using the inferred fields is not an option in some instances.

Many folks copy the value from inferred field to another field with campaigns, and then change the value in your own custom field. We don't allow editing the Inferred Fields because they are populated by us and we don't want to run into cases where we'd overwrite your values.

Marketo is populating bogus inferred cities on some of our leads that is causing SF and Marketo sync failures. IE - inferred city = j¯! ¹"ÐáMI. If we cant change this, what is a good way to make sure the sync works?

Did you contact support on this? We shouldn't be populating with data like that.
