Log a SFDC 'send email' activity for Marketo email

Our sales team is measured on the number of activities logged in SFDC such as sending emails or logging a call.

For those SFDC admins, do you know if there is a way to automatically create a SFDC 'send email' activity when Sales sends Marketo emails from Sales Insight or outlook plug in?

Under Sync Options in the Salesforce section of the Admin panel, make sure "Sales email sent" is checked. This will create an activity in SFDC everytime an MSI email is sent.

Conor is right. We don't do that because we like to have higher level of control over what is created. We manually create the task with a certain naming convention and notes.

But either way, you can accomplish this!

What about logging an activity for an email sent from Outlook, not MSI?
