Hi All, we wanted to display a list of leads on a Marketo landing page. I wanted to know if Velocity can assist in this.

Velocity doesn't run on LPs. So: no.

Thanks Sanford, is there another way to display details of contacts on a landing page?

I want to use this form for internal support reps to be able to enter emails of customers and send them. The contacts displayed can be pulled from the account id entered to another field, or added to the URL.

Well, first of all the problem is you're talking about a Marketo LP, and that's not not secure in the way we expect a line-of-business app to be secure.

It's fair to say an LP could access an external service that would itself have adequate security: separate usernames and passwords, DoS protection, etc. (So anyone could reach the page, but not anyone could log in.)  Then the service could use the Marketo REST API to look up leads, intelligently caching results -- because even if only internal users access the page, using the API directly is highly inefficient.

Generally speaking, though, this kind of app should only hit a database that contains a mirror of your Marketo database -- refreshed periodically using the Bulk Extract API. A low-end SQL db can handle billions of queries per day; a limit of 50,000 just ain't right for any app.
