LinkedIn autofill on forms

Question

Hi,Does anyone have some best practices on field updates using linkedin autofill? I dont want to block field updates but I also do not want email addresses to get updated or create unnecessary duplicates. I think most people use their personal email address on linkedin but we would prefer to capture their work email address first and foremost. Example:Joe Schmo at company abc123 fills out a form with email joeschmo@abc123.coma month later fills out a form with linkedin autofill with email joeschmo@gmail.comI am wondering if we should create a field for forms with auto-fill labeled "linkedin email" and then create a workflow to pull the linkedin email into the email address if "is empty"?I would love some feedback and to hear what others are doing.Thanks!

Since the user would have a tracking cookie you could setup a new field for their linkedin email and use that to tie back to the original lead record with their work email. You also might want to do something similar for phone number if you collect that on the form since most users also put their personal cell phone numbers into Linkedin.
