LinkedIn autofill on forms
Hi,
Does anyone have some best practices on field updates using linkedin autofill? I dont want to block field updates but I also do not want email addresses to get updated or create unnecessary duplicates. I think most people use their personal email address on linkedin but we would prefer to capture their work email address first and foremost. Example:
Joe Schmo at company abc123 fills out a form with email joeschmo@abc123.com
a month later fills out a form with linkedin autofill with email joeschmo@gmail.com
I am wondering if we should create a field for forms with auto-fill labeled "linkedin email" and then create a workflow to pull the linkedin email into the email address if "is empty"?
I would love some feedback and to hear what others are doing.
