Line break issue when copying and pasting from Notepad to Email Editor

When I copy and paste email content to Notepad and then to the Email Editor in Marketo, the lines don't break. I end up with these incredibly long lines. I can manually insert breaks in the Editor but it's not clear where I should insert them. 

How do I deal with this? 

I read a separate thread here saying to try Notepad ++. I downloaded it but I don't quite understand how I'm supposed to use it.

Hi David,

Open your Notepad++
Click File > New, and paste the text that you copied from email draft.

Then, copy the text from Notepad++(the first line of Notepad++), and paste it in the email editor draft.

This avoids you ending up with incredibly long lines, and maintains the line breaks.
