Leads with Source: Event Partner Webinars

We had a Marketo webinar using webex. There were new leads created in Marketo with source = "Event Partner" and Program status change from "Not in Program" to "Attended". Any idea how these leads might possibly come in to the system and attend the webinar? They did not go through the status from "Registered" to "Attended".

Could they have registered for the Webinar directly through WebEx? I have seen that before. Then, post webinar, since the Program was synched, they were pushed over with the rest of the attendees.

That turned out to be the reason. I did not config the lead source to be Event Partner for the activity. The value might be set by marketo.
