Lead with extraordinary # of duplicate activities

Hi all,

I have a lead that has an extraordinary number of duplicate activities within a few minutes like clicks in email, website visits etc. Here is a screenshot:

Within 5 minutes he created 5 pages of activities within the activity log. Has anyone recognized something similar? Or has anyone an idea what happened? Sync mistake?
