Lead Scoring for Different Types of Webinars

We currently score our webinars for the usual: Registered, Attended, etc.

We want to add another level to this scoring for specific types of webinars (i.e.: regular webinar= +5, product-related webinar= +8, etc.) Anyone have some ideas on how to accomplish this?

Yes, what you can do is use a tag to identify different types of webinars.  Then use a Choice at the Scoring step to say if tag = 1 then +8 if tag = 2 then +5 etc...

By Tag, you mean a separate field.

Program Tags are not currently available in smart lists or flow steps.

Usually the way you do this is to name the Webinars with Product, Regular, etc. and then the trigger says Program Name CONTAINS "Product A"

Very effective for differentiating Forms, Pages, etc.

Her is a suggestion:

You could be very specific and define the programs that will have a higher or lower score when a program status is changed.

But there is no relation between the trigger and the filter, right? If the lead/contact is a member of one of the 3 event programs and the program status changes in 10 other programs, this will trigger and validate 10 times.

Hi Stijn,

Yes, this is correct.

The best solution is to use a solid naming convention and the following trigger:

The contains and the solid naming convention will enable to select only certain types of programs

I like the suggestions here about using naming conventions in your Program names. We have two types of webinars (educational and sales) and have set up different Channels for them. We have one scoring campaign that triggers off a status change in one of the webinar channels and a second one for the other.
