Lead Scoring - Alert Email to Sales

Hi,

I am implementing a lead scoring system in marketo and would like to see if I can set an email alert to the sales team if the contact has reached a certain score.

Hi Mabel,

You certainly can do this.


In the Smart campaign (we call this Qualifying Score campaign), use 'Score is Changed' trigger and mention your desired values. Select New Score is <desired value> for your requirement.
Then goto flow tab and drag "Send Alert' flow step and select your pre defined alert email and the sales recipient email address.

Hi Prinu,

Score is changed in not the right trigger to use, because you cannot test previous value. And you are not sure that the leads will have a +50 change.

You should be using a data value change.

Hi Mabel,

This is quite easy. Set up a Smart Campaign with the following settings :

  1. Trigger : Data value changes - Field : Lead Score - Constraints : new value at least [your threshold] - previous value - less than [your threshold]
  2. Flow step : send alert to who ever you need.
  3. Rules : run through the flow every time

and activate it.
