Question

Lead Scoring

Everytime I make a change to the lead scoring for a particular email campaign, it treats someone who has opened the email once as someone who has opened the email over and over by capturing the dates/times I have made changes.  They have truly only opened the email once, but it is showing some of them have opened an email 3-4 times and giving them more points every time. What am I doing wrong??

  1. is this a trigger or batch?
  2. change your schedule to be Once per Hour or Once a day. Otherwise they will get pts every time they click or open.

I'd like to set up a global scoring campaign but am not sure how to do it.  What I would like, is anytime someone opens any email (whether it was an email created today, or 3 months from now), it increases their score by 1 point.  I think that needs to be a trigger campaign, is that correct?
