Lead Purge Options

We offer our existing clients an option to register for a webinar using a Marketo form through the GoToWebinar connector. They could potentially create a new lead record if they are not de-duped (if they use a different email address for example). We use form prefill on a landing page to avoid this, but there will be cases where the form prefill will not be used (the regisration landing page might be shared outside of a Marketo-generated email for example).

Are there any options for automatically purging lead records from a webinar event after it has ended (after the followup emails have been sent after the webinar event)?

Why do you want to purge records?

You can certainly go through the Member tab and remove people from the Program or even delete them, but I would avoid automating this. It sounds like you could easily delete a client record.

form prefill has only limited utility to prevent dupes - marketo will dedupe on email address regardless of prefill.

It would be better to use the Possible Dupe filter+Member of Program, or setup a deduping process for the entire instance.
