Lead Nurturing Remove from Program

Hi all - Quick question I want to make sure I am understanding correctly:

I have a lead nurturing program that runs over the course of a number of months. The actual sends of emails is managed through a singular smart campaign, with wait steps of X duration in between the main flow steps.

If I have a recurring campaign to change status of certain members to "Not In Program," will it remove these people totally, even if they are in the middle of the campaign (in a wait step, for example)? I believe it does, just want to verify.

Thanks. And this also would remove them from the SFDC campaign if I have one synced, correct?

Yes.

You may want to consider a "Remove from Campaign" which will keep them in the Program, but not in the campaign itself.

Or move to an Engagement Program.
