Lead is Created Trigger

Hello, I'd like to set up a smart campaign that sends an email to every new lead that is created in either SalesForce or Marketo, with the Lead Status of  "Nurture"  and with the Target Lead Index of 3 or 4.  I've set up the smart list to use the "Lead is Created" trigger and added 2 filters: "Lead Status is Nurture" and "Target Lead Index is at least 3".  This campaign doesn't seem to be working... I've seen one lead  created with the Target Lead Index of 4 and is in "Nurture" status and the campaign didn't trigger to fire off an email to them. Thoughts?

It's possible the lead didn't have that status right away. If you look at the Activity Log of the lead, was it the case that the status got added/changed after the fact?

What might work better is triggering on the lead creation and then having the flow step wait 5-10 minutes and use the Add Choice to only send the email if someone meets your criteria.

You could also do this by using the following:
  • TRIGGER: Lead is created
  • TRIGGER: Data value is changed, Lead status is changed, new value is Nurture
  • FILTER: Lead was created: last hour
