Lead did not open any email last year - double check filters

Hi - Seeking a second set of eyes. It's been a year or so since I dabbled in Marketo. Would appreciate confirmation, or assistance to accomplish the task at hand.

TASK: Export list of all email addresses that did not open a single email in 2019 (Include invalid and suspended)

MY LIST (Report):

Smart List

  • Filter: Email address is not empty
  • Filter: Not Opened email, email is any, Date of Activity on or after 01/1/19

Since I'm not familiar with the data, yet, it's hard for me to say if the output I'm receiving is accurate.  

Thanks for helping to confirm my setup makes sense for what I'm trying to accomplish.

Depends on what you are trying to do, you might want to add a filter of Was Sent Email. Because right now, it will pull in people who were just sitting in your database and were not sent an email last year.

Also, if you are looking for true 2019 data, I would recommend using a "between" constraint, not "on or after"

    Thanks, @Vladislav Vagner‌. Totally forgot about Between. Will add that.  I'll also add in the "Was Sent Email."  Totally makes sense.
