Landing page Edit mode help

I'm a designer and I'm trying to drag and drop new elements in the edit mode of a landing page. There seems to be a glitch. When I let off my mouse, I don't see a dialog box. The green check just moves. A'm I doing Anything wrong here?

Are there mktEditable areas in the template you are using?
