Lack of Velocity Scripting Docs

Velocity script is for sure the unsung hero of Marketo in terms of customization etc but the documentation is lacking to say the least - anyone else found good docs/sites around it's use (not necessarily) in the context of Marketo.

Not sure if you have already seen these links, but on the Marketo Developer site, they provide two links to additional info on Velocity scripting:

Yep but even those (for a programmer like me) are limited as not all function and processes are available to Marketo.
