Keeping Leads in Marketo, deleting them in SFDC

I was trying to delete some leads from SFDC but keep them in Marketo.  When deleting from SFDC, during the category : "delete from Marketo", I put "false", as directed.  But it still deleted them in Marketo.  What should I have done differently?

You might want to try saving these contacts in a "My List" in Marketo in the future. These are static lists that should not be impacted by changes in SFDC.
