Question

Jump links in an email

We are creating an email newsletter for our distributors that is quite long with important product updates. Is it possible to have jump links in a 'contents' section at the beginning of an email that links to specified sections further down in the same email?

Many thanks in advance
Colette.

It is just a regular link pointing to a named position in the email rather than a full URL.

<a href="#product1-link">Product 1</a>
<a href="#product2-link">Product 2</a>

and so on

Then define the tag where the section starts

<a name="product1-link">

Please keep in mind you need the # sign to denote it is an internal link.

There's a button in the Rich text editor to make this easy. It looks like a ship's anchor.

If someone clicks on one of these jump links does Marketo record it as a click?
