Jump email in an engagement program

Hello all, I’m trying to find a way for leads who are currently in an engagement program not to receive a cast if they already consumed the call to action (document). Let say  a member downloads the document featured in one of our program emails. I don't want him to receive this cast (email). I looked over the KB but couldn’t find something about that. How would I do that?

Create a program and have any lead who downloads the particular piece of content become a member of that program.  Then use this same program in your engagement program.  When the stream gets ready to send, it will check for membership in the program.  if the lead is already a member of this program, it will skip it and go to the next piece of content.

    Thank you Kim and Cheryl. Let say my engagement program have a total of 10 emails. Would I have to build 10 programs? Thank you.
