Is there any new documentation to go with the new Program APIs?

The latest release features some enhancements to the SOAP API, but I can not fiind any documentation.  Does anyone know if there is any?

Hi Stephen,

We've just added documentation for the two new program APIs: Program API.pdf. There are also sample requests and responses included.

The two new APIs are:
  • getChannels - get the progression status info of requested channels
  • getTags - get the tag type and values of requested tags


The Marketo Enterprise SOAP API article has also been updated to include the new APIs. 

Hope this helps! Sorry we didn't update the API documenation sooner.

The SOAP API pdf is still the one dated 9/21/2012.  Where is the new fuctionality documented?

Does the API support creation of a Marketo program? I didnt say anything in the documentaiton that would indicate that.

Hey Chis, 

Our API currently doesn't support creating programs. However if you'd find it really useful, suggest it on our Ideas page. Our team reads through everyone's ideas and if a lot of people want the API, we'll support it. :)

Well I was told API enhancements were one of the top requests at this year's Marketo Summit so maybe I can rally enough developers in the community to vote that one up :D
