Is there a token for a smart list name?

For campaign tracking purposes, we use the smart list name as the source, can this be dynamically set through a token? If not, one workaround I can think of is to create a token on the campaign with the list names- have any efficient workarounds to share?

There are no system tokens for Smart List names.  Your suggestion of using My Tokens to write the Smart List names into individual tokens and then reference them is one way of accomplishing this.  Others may have more creative ideas.

Not exactly what you are looking for but you could use Campaign Name ({{Campaign.Name}}) which is the name of the smart campaign.  Using a custom program token is the only other way that I know of.  Hope this helps.
