Question

Is there a lead limit when syncing to a salesforce campaign?

Hello,

Just synced a Marketo program to a Salesforce campaign, the SFDC campaign has over 6,000 leads yet when the sync was done Marketo only showed 5,000. Is there a limit of how many leads/contacts can be synced over to a program in Marketo?

Hi Malik,

No, there is no such limit.

Yet, I have experienced that the campaign member sync can be very long.

And you should check that the 6000 leads are all in Marketo. If for instance you have a limited sync setting, it may happen than some SFDC leads are not in Marketo. In this case, they cannot be a program member either.

There is a limit to the number of API calls that can be executed on a daily basis of 10,000.  This may be the issue

That's the limit for inbound API calls to Mkto, not calls to SFDC (which will also be limited, but always way more than 10K).

Hi Malik,

The SFDC API Limit is based on the number of SFDC users you have and the license level :

from 1000 to 5000 daily API calls per user, with a minimum of 15000 daily API calls.
