Is same CNAME possible for both Email Tracking and LP ?

Hello Everyone !!

I was just wondering, if we can keep the same CNAME example: "xxxx.companydomain.eu" for both Email Tracking and Landing Page ?

If Yes, will it have any implications on tracking or any other aspects.

Hi Veera,

No, that is not possible since the 2 CNAMEs have to point to 2 completely different web servers. Furthemore, they are completely different by nature. The email branded link is in a fact a "click detection server" that detect and decrypt the URL of all incoming traffic to determine which email link was clicked, by whom. The landing page si a simple web server that hosts landing pages.
