We're interested in incorporating symbols into the subject lines, is that possible through the emails we send with Marketo?

What sort of symbols are you thinking?  The subject line does accept special character and alt key symbols if that's of any use.

You can do this by creating a rich text My Token with the symbol and adding the token to the subject line.

We were thinking about implementing these types of symbols if possible:

Yes those work.  If you cut and paste them from that web page into the My Token's Rich Text Editor, you should toggle on the HTML display because HTML code from the web page you copied it from will likely be added during the paste.  Just remove any HTML and leave the symbol.

Hi Sylvia,

Just wanted to confirm what everyone has posted above that the subject line does support symbols in the subject line.

The symbols you're referencing are considered to be "non-ASCII characters". Please read through my last post in this Discussion item to better understand an existing product limitation and how to workaround it.

Thanks!
