Is it possible to integrate with tout and yesmail?

Our cold prospecting team uses two tools, tout and yesmail, to track emails originating out of their gmail accounts. Is there any way we can tie the api for these services into the marketo api so that these emails get a) tracked in marketo too and b) people get cookied appropriately and become known leads

If I am undersanding your idea correctly you are trying to cookie GMail users before they reach your website or any landing page.

If that is correct, it can not be done for a number of reasons, including but limited to, setting a 3rd party cookie without explicit users' knowledge and/or consent. That is a particularly risky if any lead is in the European Union.

You can use the Munchkin JavaScript API's call associateLead within the primary domain though.

That's not correct.

I'm trying to integrate tout (an email tracking app) or yesmail (an email tracking app) with Marketo.

offers native integrations only, not an open API.
In that context no external entity can offer integration since they do not disclose any specification or access.

It is more flexible than Tout, although not an open API such as SFDC, Marketo, SugarCRM or Google, among many others

Acording to their own statement

That is the strongest indication they develop the API themselves and keep it closed rather than disclosing it users and 3rd parties.
In that context Marketo or any other vendor can not offer that integration since Yesmail is not making their specifications publicly accessible.

Hi Peter,
Were you able to integrate Tout? We are going through a trial right now and we were just able to get it done. Basically Tout needs your munchkin ID and Key. They set it up on their end and then you need to create rules in Marketo so you can see the interesting moments and the behavior score changing.

I am about to start creating these rules.
