Question

Is it possible to embed a form into a Marketo e-mail?

I'm creating an opt-in campaign and would like to include two fields (name and e-mail address) within the e-mail itself rather than requiring a click to a landing page. Does anyone know if this is possible? Can't find anyting on the community about this.

Thanks in advance.

This is not possible.

Generally you want people to follow your CTA to a landing page they can then fill out the form. All of this can be tracked.

Josh is correct.

When trying to get opt-in, we typically include a plain text CTA as well as an image (often times a button image) both linking to your lp where the form would live.

You can't, as Josh and Tara state, embed usable forms in e-mails (you can embed them but they will display in a fraction of mail apps -- and be functional in almost zero of those).

However you can link to the form on the web and add ?name={name}&email={email} to the URL.  Then your landing page can parse out these values automatically upon "landing" and just have the user press submit.

(Or... not even press submit but automatically submit. But that is not recommend.)
