Is it possible to clone an existing role rather than create another custom role from scratch?

I would like to clone the existing role and then resrtict the clone instead of creating another custom role from scratch. Another issue is that when I am trying to open two windows to look an the existing role I am trying to use as a reference, I keep getting logged out of the first browser window. Does anybody have a way around this problem? Thanks.

Unfortunately, I don't know a way to clone it. Have you tried multiple tabs rather than different windows to see if that might make it easier to stay logged in?
