Is it possible to automatically change spellings by region?

Our content is all written with English (UK) rather than American spellings, except for when we are directly contacting people in the US.  Is there a way of using dynamic content so that words such a customise can change to customize when it goes to someone in the US?  I have the different regions set up as segments.

Currently I have to set up separate email programmes for each region then go through and change the spellings, but thought there might be a better way.

Sure, you can use dynamic content/segmentations to do this. But you will still need separate blocks for US/UK spellings. So it will be automatic in the sense it will send the right version to the right people, but Marketo doesn't "know" when to use different spellings.

    Thank you Josh.  Do you think each block should be set up as a snippet then?  Does a block have to be a whole paragraph or section within an email or could I specify the individual words that I will want to change?
