Interesting Moment - Searched Competitor

Hi all,

I am new to setting up interesting moments for Sales Insight and I was really interested in the searched for competitor one. Is my smart campaign set up properly? I have the competitiors listed in the search query.

Your campaign is setup correctly. It is possible that some search engines will still pass you this information & this alert will trigger correctly. 

However around six months to a year ago Google stopped providing Search Query to marketers [and others followed suit]. So for 90% of your web visits you won't have any search query provided. 

Sorry. The rules of the game changed.

    Amanda, are you taking out search ads on your competitor's names? If yes, you could manually tag the ad URL and trigger off of that. As Adam mentioned, the Search Query field is pretty much never populated anymore. However, with manual tagging of paid search, you can say 'Query string - contains - "kw=Kabbage"' or 'Query string - contains - "campaign=competitors"'.

    Just seeing this now...how do you take search ads out of a competitors name?
