Question
Integrating with Segment.com
Hey everyone!
Has anyone had any experience integrating with Segment.com (i.e. passing data into Segment and then having that flow into Marketo)? I've been able to get lead information into Marketo but have two problems
1) The leadId for the leads does not match the userId I passed in from Segment. If the userId is not used as the leadId, where is the userId tracked?
2) I'm seeing no lead activity. We're definitely passing in user activity data into segment. Where does this show up? Curiously enough, while I don't see any activity for known leads, I do see anonymous leads being created, which leads me to suspect that activity data is being associated with the wrong users.
Any help with this would be much appreciated.
