Inserting a referral offer into a guided landing page

Happy Friday.

Just a quick one... is there a way to insert a referral offer into a guided landing page that wasn't built with that in mind.

I noticed that there are embed codes can these be used in a text field somehow.

Sure, the embed code can be inserted into an editable text area in HTML Source view.  But of course you can't prevent it from being overwritten if that same element needs to have other stuff in it.
